Why I don't believe in God
My lack of belief in God comes down to one issue: evidence . Belief is often based on meaning, comfort, or tradition. Evidence is something that can be examined, tested, and independently verified. In nearly every area of life—science, medicine, history, law—we prioritize evidence. Religion asks us to suspend that standard. The core claims of Christianity are extraordinary: that a god exists, intervenes in the world, answers prayers, and revealed truth through ancient texts.
